This Just In: BTID Will Not Raise Your Taxes

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything of importance (or relevance, for that matter). SO, I’m mustering up a few minutes of my time to inform you of some happenings.

Firstly, there are new mixes of note in the mixtape section. Double-discers for both February and March. I have been back on a music-listening binge as of late and you are all the benefactors of this (at least I’d like to think so).

Secondly, there is news from within the ranks of our very own BTID family of musical friends. The Gifted Children have released several new albums from their voluminous archive. Some of them qualify for schwag. You may remember the GC from BTID’s debut netrelease, The Commonwealth Squelch. I had the pleasure of catching them on tour in Philly recently. Much fun was had.

Also, Hussalonia (whom you also know from the netlabel) has gone all Creative Commons on us with all of his new output. I wholeheartedly endorse the entire catalog and about 90% of it is free to download. Huzzah!

I can’t say with certainty that regular posting will resume but I’m also not ruling it out. I intend to update the links section at the very least and maybe add a few more themed mixes. Even as I write this I had forgotten just how much I enjoyed providing opinions and information to the couple hundred (maybe a thousand?) or so devoted BTID fans I once had. No promises though….
